Plagiarism Policy
Krishi Articles enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against intellectual dishonesty, unauthorized duplication, and plagiarism. We are committed to publishing original popular articles that reflect authentic technical knowledge and research.
Screening Process
Every manuscript submitted to Krishi Articles is automatically screened using automated plagiarism detection software prior to reviewer assignment. Submissions exhibiting copied passages without appropriate attribution are flagged immediately.
Similarity Thresholds & Actions
To maintain editorial integrity while accommodating standard agricultural terminologies, our editorial team applies the following criteria:
Below 10-15% Similarity
Acceptable for further evaluation, provided there are no extensive copy-pasted sections and proper citations are given for referenced data.
15% – 25% Similarity
Returned to the author for mandatory revision. The author must rephrase overlapping text and provide proper source citations before re-submission.
Above 25% Similarity
Immediate rejection. The manuscript will not be considered for publication due to excessive unoriginal content.
Self-Plagiarism & Duplication
Publishing the same article or substantial parts of one’s own previously published work elsewhere without attribution is strictly prohibited.
Types of Unacceptable Practices
Authors must ensure their submissions avoid all forms of academic misconduct, including:
- Direct Copying: Copying text verbatim from internet sources, journals, or books without quotation marks or attribution.
- Paraphrasing Without Attribution: Rewording another author's ideas or field findings while passing them off as original insights.
- Image & Data Theft: Using figures, diagrams, or dataset tables from other publications without permission or citation.
- Concurrent Submission: Submitting the same article simultaneously to Krishi Articles and another magazine or journal.
Post-Publication Misconduct
If plagiarism or copyright violation is proven after an article has been published, Krishi Articles will conduct an immediate investigation. Upon confirmation, the article will be officially retracted from our web index, and a public retraction notice will be posted.
